Summit: Branding

THE GOAL

Increase the amount of business for Summit Contracting and grow from $4 million in revenue to $10 million over 5 years

THE PROCESS

When Summit Contracting came to Ripple Marketing they needed a complete re-branding. We started off with new business cards and built a new custom website to conveniently provide information to their current and potential customers. We held a two day video shoot at various locations surrounding the Platte area. We partnered with Robb Long and utilized his expertise behind the camera capturing beautiful footage of Summit buildings and customers. With this footage and photography we created a: 30 TV spot, collateral pieces, print ads, truck wraps and signage.

We also scripted and produced monthly radio ads highlighting promotions and specials. Research and special consideration was taken when placing media because of the specific audience we were trying to reach. We focused on the widely distributed agriculture newspapers and magazines in the region. We also concentrated on reaching rural homes by focusing on the loyal viewers of the midday and evening news. We also spear headed all of the planning and preparation for their Grand Opening event and the materials that went along side it. We designed an invite that went out to farmers and rural properties 60 miles around their location. We also created a print piece to hand attendees and signage with information about each of their manufacturers.

THE OUTCOME

• Grew revenue by $2 million with just a year of advertising
• Opened a 2nd location
• Won South Dakota Young Entrepreneurs of the year Award from the SBA in 2015
• Won an Eagle Award from Lester Buildings in 2015
• Won a trip to the GSI Dealer Meeting and Awards Banquet in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and was awarded with the State of South Dakota Top Dealer award for GSI Grain Systems
