THE GOAL

Create awareness for the services provided by Southeastern Behavioral and update donors with the latest news and programs.

THE PROCESS

Southeastern Behavioral HealthCare is a private, non-profit agency that emphasizes the importance of emotional wellness. Southeastern is one of 11 Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC) in South Dakota dedicated to providing the citizens of this state with top quality, professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. For the commercial spot, we focused on the statistic that 1 in 5 people have a diagnosable mental health condition. We also wanted to let the public know that people with mental health conditions don’t have a certain look.

We also developed a quarterly newsletter that was sent out to donors. The newsletter content focused on stories of those helped by Southeastern, community events and updates on programs. Donation envelopes were also included in each newsletter.
